I started singing for the Lord as a young teenager after becoming a Christian. I have loved singing Gospel music and it has been a big part of my life. I went to Aldersgate Bible College where I sang in a group called “Celebration”, and travelled around Ontario singing in churches.
Bryan and I were married in 1988. We have 4 wonderful children and 6 grandchildren we love dearly. I have been blessed to live next to my parents for most of my life. They love Gospel music and have always been such a great support.
During my 40 years of being a Nurse, the Lord blessed me with many opportunities to share the Gospel with my patients. I had the honour of singing at work on a number of occasions.
I began singing in a group called “Our Journey Calls”, where God led us to sing in many churches over the years. It was a trio with Kelly Nelles and Sherry Schaefer. It has been a joy to sing and minister to God’s people through that group. Kelly has gone on to be with the Lord and God has called Sherry and I to continue singing. He put Kathy Rice in our path and began a new singing ministry called “New Journey”. We are looking forward to seeing where God leads our group.

My singing memories began as a child standing around the piano at home with Mom playing and the family singing at the top of our lungs. We (Snider family) began travelling, as the Lord led us, for 35 years. I am so thankful for this precious time that God entrusted to us as a family.
Today I lead music at my home church in Westport and recently God opened the door for me to join New Journey.
I believe Christ has used music to shape me and strengthen my walk with him. He has inspired me to write numerous songs and placed within me the desire to serve him with my voice.
My prayer is that he uses our ministry to touch hearts and heal lives by challenging listeners to hear his voice as he speaks to them through the words that we sing.
I believe that we are nothing in ourselves but only as we allow God to work through us. May Christ receive the glory !

For as long as I can remember I have loved to sing! I was raised singing gospel music.
For the past 40 years I have been married to my husband, Joe, and we have raised a great family of four children whom have families now of their own. What a blessing it is to be grandparents to eight amazing young ones.
My life has been filled with wonderful ministry opportunities as I’ve served alongside my husband in the church.
For the past twelve years it was an honour singing in a group called “Our Journey Calls” with my brother Kelly, who has now gone on to be with our Lord, and my friend Debbie.
Now I begin a “New Journey “ following my heart which wants to keep on singing and ministering the gospel message of the Lord.
What a blessing 🥰

I have had the privilege of knowing members of this singing group for many years and what they sing in concerts is lived out in their daily lives. The thing that has attracted me to this group over the many years has been the presence of the Lord you always felt when they were singing. They did not come to show or perform, their number one goal was to worship and honour the God they love and live for. Even in some of the darkest days of their lives, Gods glory shines through.
